Republic of Maldives Maldives (72nd island)

Landing off the coast of Landaa-Giraavaru by seaplane from North Male Atoll to Ari Atoll.
Check in by boat from here.

From Male to Ari Atoll Four Season Resort Maldives at Landaa-Giraavaru.

The Maldives was the one my wife wanted to visit most on the Islands of the earth.
I don't like luxury resorts.
This time commemorates the 40th anniversary of marriage.
The color of the atoll seen from a seaplane, changes from moment to moment.
The shallow lagoon is inhaled into a blue lagoon studded with white sand, emeralds, sapphires, diamonds and jewels.
Over 100 resorts dotted with round house reefs.
A trip that is completely empty-handed from the airport to the check-in.
Sometimes such a trip would be nice.

Tomorrow we will move to the next resort and no manta tour will be held.
"What's the deal?" Negotiations concluded.
Charter a speedboat and try again before departure.
The boat cuts the waves and takes 20 minutes to the destination.
I can't see anything at the point where the staff points.
Search underwater with an underwater camera "There are a lot of manta rays" 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 It comes one after another.
This is amazing.

The manta ray of the boarding ship is a wooden local ship Doni.
Watching for manta rays for an hour.
The waves are rough and I can't see the manta rays.
Still, I look into the sea with a snorkel.
Red jellyfish and big plankton are tingling and unpleasant.
I decided to return to the boat early.
It's a pity that I can't see the manta ray I was looking forward to.
The guidebook says that Japanese staff are there I found that there are as many as three Japanese staff at the hotel.

25 minutes north by seaplane from Male International Airport.
Landaa-Giraavaru Island in Baa Atoll.
The size of a detached water cottage is over 180 square meters.
The purpose of visiting this super luxury resort is Manta Safari.
An area rich in plankton that feeds from August to October.
Divers are competing because manta rays can be seen in hordes.

Safari manta

Replace the film with a scene you have never seen before and try again.
Transparency is not good for too many plankton.
However, I am lucky to meet such a manta ray.
I was so excited that I got goose bumps and my eyes were wide open like a boy.
I don't have much time to leave, so I'm busy returning to the Island.

The highlight is about 10m from the beach. Many fish flock to beautiful coral,
and sometimes sharks and sea turtles also come.
It's unlikely in the world that you can fully enjoy snorkeling without going to a diving spot.

Early to bed and early to rise are always refreshing.
I was impressed by the new sandbar that was just created by shooting the morning sun on a boat and at low tide.
The 1998 El Nino phenomenon severely damaged shallow coral, but Angsana had her own project early on.
She was trying to grow coral.

There is soap that does not pollute the seawater,
but the staff shakes their heads no matter who asks about the incinerator or recycling of garbage.
Well, is that so? For me, who is traveling a lot,
I lose my appetite after eating the same food for a week, but the restaurant on the sand feels good with the sea breeze.
Sometimes it's nice that there are no facilities other than the bar.

A small resort with a swing on a palm-leaved roof.
There is an open-air bath jacuzzi in the courtyard.
The feeling of liberation to see the stars in the sky from between the palm leaves is exceptional.
The interior, which is based on green and orange, is very calm.
Best of all, 1 minute from the backyard to the beach.
Also, that is the best point of snorkeling.
An eco-resort with an impact on the environment.

Epilogue

Kotetsu's one word

The Maldives seen from the sky was fascinated by the landscape that I have never seen before.
