Map of Kodiak
I saw a bear in the lake in front of me.
"Oh, I was there"
I was crouching down and sneaking up before I knew it the bear is far away.
You can see a bear catching salmon from a hill about 10m high.
One and two 11 in total.
Seeing a bear chasing a salmon is impressive.
Look into the finder in the unfenced nature.
the sunny weather hangs low
and flies under the clouds.
Visual flight is also not very pleasant.
I never thought I would need a raincoat provided
by the pilot at the time of departure.
Arrived at the lake in an hour.
Seaplanes are convenient. I'm really impressed.
A clerk was called and another airline had a vacant seat.
Any trip is OK. Then let's go over there.
A 5-seater seaplane.
I'm used to it because I've also experienced four-seater.
The second largest Island after the big Island has countless rivers on the map.
There are mountains, valleys, lakes, and lots of salmon. It seems that there are many bears.
There is also seafood familiar in Japan such
as halibut, crab, octopus and sea urchin.
The great thing here is that you can touch
the starfish and shellfish in the aquarium with your hands.
"I want to bring my grandchildren to a place like this"
I remember Japan for a long time.
It's a good place to be American.
I'm surprised because I have prepared towels properly.
A car picked us up 30 minutes late to the seaplane base for the lake.
Even if you make a reservation, it is full in the morning.
It's sloppy to pick up again at 4 o'clock, but I'm not so angry on the Island.
The tour desk staff apologized for being guided to the Fisheries Experiment Station.
Two adult and cubs are approaching me.
At about 50m will you come near us?
The bear is worried about the bush he had disappeared. Continue.
