Lanzarote

June 4th-June 6th, 2012

60km long and 20km wide (slightly smaller than Sado Island)

The Island-born Cesar Manrique (1929-1993 artist) contributed significantly to the development of the Island.
Many regulations were enacted by moving the parliament with the residents to protect the Island's nature.
The building is up to the 4th floor, the color is white or beige, the window frame is unified in blue or green, and signs such as roads are prohibited at all.
No matter which city you visit, the vividness will come to your eyes.
As a tourism-oriented country, many tourists are rushing to the Island, and the number of people migrating from long-term stays is increasing.
A two-night, three-day trip from Tenerife takes only 45 minutes to reach the airport in Lanzarote.
The reserved limousine (BMW) driver Miguel (35) Bolivian greeted me at the airport.
I plan how to go around the Island.
Tonight's inn is La Graciosa (500 people), 20 minutes by boat from the north end.
I heard that there is nothing on the Island, but decided to go.

The easternmost Island of the Canary Islands is 115 km to the African continent.
It is about the same distance as the distance between Tokyo and Atami.
From October to February, many people come from all over Europe.
June is just the off-season.
I thought it was an Atlantic Island far away from the Japanese, with many in Britain, Finland, and Germany.
However, when I came, I was surprised at the close distance that I could reach the African Continent in a few hours from all over Europe and 4 to 5 hours via Madrid.

Graciosa Island (population 500)

Both the cactus park and the lava cave are a series of amazing counter punches.
I was impressed by the size of the scale and the structure that preserved the nature.
In the lava cave the next day, I borrowed three flashlights with the driver Miguel, ran backwards from the exit, set up a tripod, and succeeded in shooting.
When I told him why and begged him to take another picture, Miguel understood that he was re-entered.
Muchos Glacier.
Such a fulfilling sightseeing took an unprecedented amount of time and opened the eyes of confirmation over and over again.

The Island's capital, Arrecife, passes by and is Jardin de Cactus (Cactus Park € 3), Jameos del Agua (Lava Cave € 8), Cave de Valdis (Volcano Tunnel € 8).
Above all, the tour guided by a guide through the dark lava tunnel, which took 40 minutes, was overwhelming with the overwhelming lava.
Lava is beautifully projected in a cavity that seems to be several tens of meters long.
For a while, everyone listened to the guide's explanation.
At that time, when the guide throws a stone, the sound of water makes a surprise and cheers.
Because everyone was staring at the lava at the bottom of the valley.
The surface of the water, which was only 20 cm long, had no cloudiness, and the lava painting disappeared into the water crest in an instant.
You can't move inside the tunnel without a guide flashlight.
Of course, I haven't taken a satisfactory picture.
I had already secretly decided to try again tomorrow.
