About two-thirds the size of Tokyo,
it is located at the northern end of the Island.

In September 1992, 90% of the houses on the south side were damaged
by a huge hurricane called Iniki.

For an unimaginable hurricane with a maximum instantaneous wind speed of 229km.
Resorts that cannot be reopened are still exposed to the elements.

The 2005 hurricanes "Katrina" and "Rita" caused the greatest damage in US history.

The south coast of the Island, where trade winds blow all year round,
has high waves and is not good to swim.

The surfing accommodation, Poipu (south coast),
is blessed with little rain and good weather all year round,
so it's so easy to spend time it's too cool.

For some reason, even blankets are provided on the hotel beds.

There were many immigrants from Japan 100 years ago,
and there were so many immigrants that it was said that the Japanese accounted for 30% of the population.

Although the third and fourth generations do not speak Japanese,
they are somewhat similar to the Islands of Okinawa and have a familiar atmosphere.

It is most suitable for the Island that has long been called Hollywood in the Pacific Ocean,
the movie "South Pacific" and Elvis Presley's Blue Hawaii, and recently,
"Jurassic Park" was filmed.
It is the setting for many movies.

That much untouched wilderness remains on the Island.

The building is up to the tallest palm tree,
