The memories of traveling to the Island closest to heaven are the many encounters with people, and the beauty of the sea and the starry sky.

The third generation of Japanese has begun planting
trees on the site of a nickel mining site that has become a bare mountain.

the nature-friendly development of Japan's world
heritage site "Iwami Ginzan" (Shimane Prefecture)
has continued since the Edo period.
 

I am proud of Japan that the trees have been
