Charter a water taxi. (110 euros per hour) and go around the Islands. Water bus takes longer than I expected. It took 5 hours on Sant'Erasmo Island. Board a water taxi from the canal in front of the hotel. The boat slowly passes through a narrow canal. Enjoy a short trip as if you were riding a gondola. The driver is Luka (33) Arrived in about 30 minutes.

Marinated shrimp and octopus, squid, small shrimp salad and scallop butter sauce as an appetizer. The freshness and taste are good! It goes well with red wine. The second dish is risotto and white fish crepe wrap. I'm satisfied with this. The third dish is a rare fried zucchini flower, squid, and sardine fried with wine. I could only eat half of it, and I didn't eat Venetian sweet cakes for dessert.

You can harvest anything like pomodoro, eggplant, arugula, broccoli. There is only one fancy restaurant on the island. A popular store that comes all the way from Venice on Sundays. CA'VIGNOTTO There is no menu, only the course. rabozo (red) and white wine made from island grapes come out in bottles.

The Venetian kitchen island is a treasure trove of vegetables. Yellow flowers welcome us in the zucchini fields. I've eaten it, but it's the first time I've seen it ... Meet an island that seems to be a laid-back island with grapes for wine. The uncle on the walk told me about the island for 30 minutes. It's not a rush trip, so it's a story about the history of the island.

A cottage-style stylish white roof instead of a beach umbrella on the private beach of Excelsior, a top-class hotel. It seems that reservations are made on a monthly basis. It seems that there is also a stay for 3 months. The Island is a long and narrow Island extending 12 km to the southeast. A unique rental "trishaw" is running for sightseeing. A municipal casino on the Island has also moved to this hotel. I visited the barcaro "Osteria al Maroa" I was looking for, but unfortunately it was closed because it was under construction. The return water bus is from Lido to San Marco on the opposite bank. If you change to the next Island from there, the sun will set.

An Island famous for the Venice Film Festival. I expected that the venue of the film festival would be an elegant building as seen on TV. 5 minutes by taxi from the vaporetto (berth). The front was under construction and I imagined a luxurious building, but I was disappointed. I can't find a flashy figure anywhere. Few tourists visit during the off-season of swimming.

Digestif and Brunello after a meal. It's impossible to get fat with this. Drink, eat, Island treats. A hideaway restaurant is highly recommended. Lunch drinks get drunk. But I'm happy ~ this moment. Don't worry about the price. Lunch for one person 25 euros (3500 yen) Dinner 30 euros.

Let's finish today. Visiting the Islands of Venice takes longer than I expected. 20 minutes, walk to the hotel. Dyed in Luoyang from alley to alley. Walking while looking at the gondola is a journey unique to Venice. Even if I was told to walk the same way again, it would be impossible. (Of course, with the guide)

An elongated Island lies on the opposite bank of St. Mark's Square. The Island, which once prospered as a fisherman, is now quiet. If you walk in the alleys of the Island, there will be no people. An Italian guide will explain it hard, but no explanation needed. A small fish shop sells small fish leisurely. Only the Cretaceous Redentore Church seems to maintain its dignity. A round-trip water bus of 13 euros is expensive.

Venetian Island Tour-I

The dock is also the most convenient place to berth. There was a predecessor in the open space on the Island where I thought no one was there. The oldest church in Venezia was too early to open, so only the exterior. The excavations of the 11th and 15th centuries outside the museum are interesting. It seems that the Island prospered in the 7th and 10th centuries, but the only vestige is the church. Several cats are kept in the hut labeled "BINGO". It seems that it is protected by the cat protection church. The guide "Yayoi Taguchi" is also active as a member of the Animal Welfare Association. I never thought I could participate in the animal "Mass" at a later date
