Kingdom of Thailand Koh Samui (54th island)

Dhutanga in front of the market

The surrounding area is lined with souvenir shops and is a popular tourist destination.

When I left early and wandered around the nearby pier, I noticed a temple.

 "What is that?"

NIN, the guide, casually replied
"Temple" with a dull reply.

It's not a rush trip.

Please guide me there.
The second largest temple on the Island.

I can't find the little boy I'm looking for anywhere.

I want to meet child monk who met for one photo.

This photo seems to have been taken in Cambodia.

It is also a tourist attraction.

I came to see the golden Buddha statue (15m) sitting in the northeastern part of the Island.

The admission fee is free, but the custom of donation is the same as in Japan.

I heard that two boys were there in the early morning
at a market near Chaweng Beach,
so I rushed by taxi at 6 am.

In front of the market, I have a large bowl like
a pot and use it as a bowl.

The driver, Lek, buys two bottles of water and
urges them to do event (accumulate virtue).

I gave it to two monks with two 20D bills.

A temple that is a sacred place of Thai faith.

Since the school was closed from March to May, I searched for the appearance of a child monk.

The temple where the Buddha statue is enshrined is strictly prohibited from wearing shoes, and it is common sense to take off the hat.

Visiting temples

When you step inside, you will be surprised by how happy you are.
A group of children's monks are taking a nap in the building on the premises.

Wake up at 5 o'clock in the morning and go to bed at 8 o'clock in the evening.
Are you tired or sleeping soundly?

An innocent sleeping face like a grandchild is very innocent and cute.

I gently left the place so as not to disturb their nap, and when I heard about tomorrow's schedule, I was excited to expect it.
"Tomorrow I will come at 6 o'clock".
