Environmental protection rules do not bring everything to the Island or take it out.
Do not touch animals and plants.

Don't feed, don't throw away any trash.
Keep a certain distance to the animals.

Animals and plants are assimilated with humans
if these strict rules are followed.

As the turning Island (35th Island)
of "Island Tour of the Earth-70 Islands"
It was so shocking and inspiring that
I was informed of the importance of preserving animals and plants.

Birds and animals on the Islands are as free as humans.

Not a pet in a cage.
People are impressed by how they live freely.

Santa Cruz Island,
where the Darwin Research Station is located,
is the most prosperous Island in the Islands excluded from national parks.

Fishing is also lifted in some parts of the town.
Iguanas, sea lions,
and pelicans coexist with humans
in a relaxed manner like pigeons and dogs and cats.

Unreal life becomes a daily routine,
and the town is crowded with tourists on a day cruise,
creating a mysterious atmosphere.

I felt it was natural that the entire Islands
were registered as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.

Precious nature was not protected from the beginning of its discovery,
used as an important offshore relay point during
the Age of Discovery in the mid-16th century giant
tortoises were overfished as "living voyage preserved food"
It is written in each book.
The number of giant tortoises, which was 250,000,
has decreased to 15,000.

The albatross was also on the verge of extinction,
but has been revived thanks to conservation efforts.

Millions of years have passed since the Island was born,
and flora and fauna have undergone unique evolution
in Islands isolated from the continent.

This is a truly outdoor class of Darwin's theory of evolution
that I learned when I was in junior high school.

There is no other place on earth where such nature is left.

Just below the equator,
the kingdom of wildlife "Galapagos Islands"
"Where is it?" Many friends return the same question.

It is a volcanic archipelago that floats on the Pacific Ocean
600 miles west of the South American continent.

People involved in environmental nature maintenance activities are extremely difficult,
Thanks to that,
animals have no alertness to humans.
